Terms & Conditions

These terms govern any design engagement between GMR3D Engineering (Mohammed Ramzi G., Algeria) and a client, and use of this website. If you engaged us through Upwork, Upwork’s own terms and payment protection apply to that engagement first; these terms fill in details Upwork’s terms don’t cover.

What we do

GMR3D Engineering provides mechanical design, CAD modelling, engineering drawings, and manufacturability review (FEA, CFD, DFMA) for parts and structures intended for sheet metal, laser cutting, CNC machining, 3D printing, injection molding, and die tooling.

Quotes and starting a project

A quote is based on the sketches, models, and process/material information you send us. It is not binding until you confirm it and, for direct (non-Upwork) engagements, a deposit or first milestone is paid. Scope not described in the quote — extra parts, revisions beyond what’s agreed, or a change in process or material after work has started — is treated as new work and quoted separately.

Revisions

A reasonable round of revisions to bring a design in line with the agreed brief is included. Changes that go beyond the original brief, or requested after final files are delivered and approved, are quoted as additional work.

Payment and refunds

Payment terms are agreed per project. See our Refund & Cancellation Policy for what happens if a project is cancelled partway through.

Who owns the files

Until a project is paid in full, all CAD models, drawings, and other deliverables remain the property of GMR3D Engineering. On full payment, ownership of the final deliverables for that project transfers to the client. You keep the right to use anything you sent us (sketches, reference photos, existing models) for your own purposes at any time.

Confidentiality

Drawings, models, and commercial details you share with us are kept confidential — see our Privacy Policy. We’re happy to sign an NDA before you send anything.

Your responsibilities

  • Give us accurate information about materials, processes, quantities, and any constraints your shop or supplier has
  • Review delivered files before sending them to manufacture
  • Respond to questions in reasonable time — delays on your side may shift delivery dates

Limits on what we’re responsible for

We design and validate based on the information you give us and standard engineering practice. We are not responsible for outcomes caused by information you didn’t share with us, by changes made to a file after delivery, or by how a third-party shop fabricates the part. Final sign-off on a design for production is always the client’s call. Our responsibility for a project is limited to correcting our own error in the delivered files, at no extra charge, within the scope originally agreed.

Website use

Content on this website — copy, images of real project work, and site design — belongs to GMR3D Engineering unless stated otherwise, and isn’t for reuse without permission.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Algeria, where GMR3D Engineering is based. Nothing in these terms limits any consumer-protection rights you have under the mandatory law of the country you live in.

Changes

If these terms change, the revised version will be posted on this page with an updated date below.
